This is just to make sure all of your past and current animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and well cared for.
Adoption Policy
As well as taking great pride in the quality of our grooming services, we also care deeply for the welfare of the dogs that come to visit. Rawhide bones and other edible chews can pose a choking and blockage risk. In fact, this is a much bigger risk than contamination or digestive irritation. If your dog swallows large pieces of rawhide, the rawhide can get stuck in the esophagus or other parts of the digestive tract. We make sure that all our rescues get a medical check, all necessary vaccinations and get spayed/neutered. Ensuring that claws are kept to a safe length is an essential part of grooming.

Your dog will have access to leisure where he or she desires in the entire hotel, indoors and out. In the boarding house we have a large play room for them to play and nap in. Our overnight attendants provide round-the-clock supervision and personalized attention that every dog deserves. All of our daycare and overnight guests are temperament tested and fully vaccinated so we know that the cage free environment is right for them.

In addition, please do not judge the Senior hounds as being too old. Adult and Senior dogs are most always house trained, full of love and are just wanting to be given that chance to show you how special they can be. Many of the Senior hounds get over looked and will most likely live out their life at Rescue if not given a chance. Please contact us about additional information on any of the Rescues and consider giving a Senior dog a chance along with the younger ones.

House of Hounds is completely Cage-Free, meaning your dog will never go in a cage, run, or be confined to a small area. Our facility is creatively designed to offer doggy daycare and boarding while you’re at work or away from home.
